We are responsible for fire-suppression and emergency response for 75 square miles of Platte County, including the communities of Parkville, Weatherby Lake, Platte Woods, Waldron, Farley, and Houston Lake.

Our district runs north to south from 92 Hwy near Leavenworth, Kansas, to the Misty Woods subdivision on 9 Hwy. East to west, we cover much of the area between 9 Hwy and the Missouri River near Parkville, and between N Hwy and the Missouri River outside of I-435.

In addition, we provide mutual aid support to Kansas City, Missouri, Fire Department, Riverside Public Safety, Central Platte Fire Protection District, and West Platte Fire Protection District.
