The special meeting of the Board of Directors of Southern Platte Fire Protection District was held Sunday, December 19, 2004, at Station Four, 8795 NW N Hwy, Kansas City, Mo.

Nelson Hopper acting as Chairman called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. Present at the meeting were Directors Nelson Hopper and Michael Newburger. Also present was Fire Chief Richard Carrizzo, Division Chiefs Callahan and Fiser, Adrienne Renton, and numerous people to help celebrate the inauguration of the new officers.

The following New Business was brought to the meeting:

1. Inauguration:

Chief Carrizzo made opening to all attendance.

President Hopper made remarks on the future of the organization and appreciate to everyone for all of the hard work that had been completed over this past year.

Director Newburger followed up these remarks and read a letter from Director Judd.

Introduction of the new Fire Marshal and Battalion Chiefs were made (Dean Cull, Brain Hershberger, Kevin Joles and Jason Ekis).

Introduction of the new Lieutenants was made (Jonathan Messick, Jason Peoples, Jason Pool, John Dinneen, Chris Alvarado and Ralph Nell).
