SECTION 2. ADOPTION OF THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE, 1994 EDITION; AND THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE STANDARDS, 1994 EDITION.

They are hereby adopted and enacted by the Board of Directors and the Southern Platte Fire Protection District for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire and explosion the Code and Standards known as the Uniform Fire Code, 1994 Edition, including all appendix chapters and the Uniform Fire Code Standards published by the Western Fire Chiefs Association and the International Conference of Building Officials, 1994 Edition, except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified, or amended by Section 7 of this Ordinance.

Such Uniform Fire Code and Uniform Fire Code Standards shall become in force and effect and apply to all buildings and structures for residential purposes or for business or building purposes within the Southern Platte Fire Protection District from and after April 14, 1997. All real estate, buildings and structures within the Southern Platte Fire Protection District shall be built, erected, constructed, enlarged, maintained, altered, repaired, moved, demolished, converted, occupied, used, and equipped in accordance with the said Uniform Fire Code and the said Uniform Fire Code Standards.
